ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± Celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the Appearance of Mary in Lourdes
In honor of the 150th anniversary of Mary’s appearance to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France, a ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 4 at the ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± University Grotto. During the ceremony, the reciting of the Rosary will be led by ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± junior Adriana Cano, of Greenville, Pa. Henna and Primo Bautista, a Greensburg couple who have frequently volunteered in Lourdes, will then speak about the modern life of the city devoted to Mary. The event will be held from 3 – 4 p.m., and in the event of rain will be held in St. Joseph Chapel on ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½±â€™s Greensburg, Pa. campus. All are welcome.
